Best Soccer Football Player in the World 2010 – Gonzalo Higuain
Gonzalo Higuain may  be the best in the world. His performance today was outstanding!
Gonzalo Higuain scored Argentina’s first hat trick at a World Cup in 12 years, leading his team to a 4-1 victory over South Korea on Thursday to steal the spotlight from Lionel Messi.
The forward scored with a header at the far post in the 33rd minute at Soccer City and added goals in the 76th and 80th minutes as Argentina moved to the top of Group B with six points.
Gabriel Batistuta had scored Argentina’s last World Cup hat trick, against Jamaica at the 1998 tournament in France. He also scored three goals against Greece at the 1994 edition in the United States.
The only other Argentine to score a hat trick in a World Cup game was Guillermo Stabile in a 6-3 win over Mexico at the inaugural event in Uruguay in 1930.
WORLD CUP SOCCER FOOTBALL SUCKS! NO INSTANT REPLAYS! One Ref is terrible!!!!!! Whole world knows the ref blew it!
Because of snobs or stubbornness, instant replays or more refs are not allowed in the sport. What about the South African goal keeper, Khune, who dreamed of these games all his life??? Due to a terrible call by the ref, his World Cup is over. Give me a break! The whole world knows the call was wrong. The whole world knows the players are actors, trying to get the ref’s attenion.
Why not get with it and change the rules. Allow the coaches to have a challenge or 2 in each game.
What is wrong with that????????????????
Any thoughts?????????
Just a terrible call today!!!!!!
Biggest Upset in World Cup 2010 Spain loses to Switzerland 1-0
Spain vs. Switzerland 0-1, in what is already the biggest surprise of the group stage at World Cup 2010.
The loss is the more surprising, if you think about the fact that Spain dominated most of the game, had huge opportunities and never looked like it could get less than 3 points.
Switzerland has never beaten Spain at this level of international competition!!!
Brazil is now the favourite to win the 2010 World Cup
